Remi and Ashley Delaune

The creators of Kumankaya are Remi and Ashley Delaune, two benevolent curanderos who radiate great compassion, grace, and wisdom.

In an earlier chapter of life, Remi was a Christian monk for 20 years, living largely in silence in France. During that time he earned two PhDs in Theology and Philosophy, reading thousands of books on the nature of reality.

12 years ago, Remi was summoned to the medicine path, and spent some ~4.5 years living mostly in isolation in the Peruvian jungle, learning from a Shipibo master, drinking ayahuasca and dieting master plants. A shaman we know described Remi as “the most advanced Western shaman I have ever encountered.”
